By 2025, AI video generation has advanced to the point where I was able to seamlessly integrate it into my motion design workflow. This has significantly streamlined my process. Instead of spending hours searching for and purchasing stock footage—or months animating a fairly realistic scene from scratch—I can now generate strong visual foundations in a fraction of the time. In After Effects, the remaining work typically involves minor refinements, as AI outputs still require some correction, along with animating text and logos (since AI continues to struggle with accurate visual typography, particularly small text, which often becomes distorted or unreadable). Despite these limitations, the efficiency and creative flexibility it provides have been transformative.
