I tend to grow emotionally attached to objects that carry good memories, especially those of my childhood. Therefore, when my very first hi-fi system gave out after 20 years of service, I couldn't just simply throw it away. Of course, I didn't wish to store a giant useless device in the house either. So transforming it into a piece of art seemed to be the only reasonable solution. This sentimental move marked the beginning of my recycled-paintings-era.
