During our academic studies, we designers are prepared to create one logo per company. But what if the client wants two logos that seemingly has nothing to do with each other? Even after you explained him/her how very much not a good idea that is, as it overcomplicates the entire branding and might lead up to confusion. But clients always have the final say, so in the end I had to create the requested extra mandala symbol in addition to my already approved logo design, which was anyways customisable for symbolising the different services of the medical studio. The former is now used on the letterheads and been added to the website, while the latter appears on the facade of the premises, the business cards and also on the website.
